In December 2000, Perth opened the Swan Bell Tower which has been gaining popularity from tourists. It is a home to 18 bells and comprises of copper “sails” surrounding of a green glass spire. Due to this, it becomes the world’s largest change ringing instrument ever built. The bells, were given as a gift to the Perth City, and they came all the way from St. Martin’s Parish in the London Field.

Perth Mint

The oldest mint still in operation in Australia is none other than the Perth Mint which was established in 1899. It’s such a shame if you don’t spend a little bit of time to visit this landmark. It opens every day from 9am and offers a wide range of unique gold jewelry and coins.

Busrswood Park

Just like the Perth Zoo, Burswood Park is also located 5-minute drive from the center of the city. It has brilliant transformation over the last twenty years, thanks to the genuine dedication of the park board and staff. What I truly liked about this park is the picturesque view of it which is very suitable for recreational activities such as cycling, jogging, people-watching, picnics and barbeques. At 11:30am, a guided tour will be available daily from the center of the visitor information. For kids, this is their heaven as there are a lot of facilities available for the children.(image by Julie Clarke)
